We recently designed and delivered a customised 2 day “plunge session” for the entire staff at the National Centre of Excellence for Furniture Design and Wood Technology at GMIT Letterfrack. The tailor-made program enabled the team to jump in at the deep end of several topics related to responsibility, good design and the circular economy. Integral to the session was a design philosophy that focuses on need, health, circularity and life cycles. Activities included sketching, applying good design principles, pitching your design and communicating brand stories.
